March 18, 2006 Heinz Center Mourns the Death of G. William Miller, Former Board Chairman
The Heinz Center family is deeply saddened by the death of G. William Miller, accomplished businessman, government leader, and devoted philanthropist and friend.
In addition to his many leadership positions within government and business, Mr. Miller was also a champion of environmental causes, and served with distinction as Heinz Center Board Chairman until November 2005. Mr. Miller died of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in his Washington, D. C. home on March 17, 2006. He is survived by an extensive network of friends and family, and by his loving wife of 59 years, Ariadna Miller.
